Job description
AEREO, India's leading drone solution tech startup, provides end-to-end solutions to government and private enterprises across various sectors. The company is actively seeking self-driven individuals to contribute to the growing drone ecosystem, specifically for their Platform Team which builds and maintains Aereo Cloud, a powerful enterprise SaaS platform. This internship is for a Frontend Developer Intern who is passionate about software quality, modern web technologies, and test automation practices. You will work closely with the engineering team to build and maintain end-to-end test automation for a React-based web application.
Key responsibilities
Design and maintain end-to-end test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
Analyze application workflows and identify positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
Follow Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation patterns.
Execute and debug tests in local and Docker environments.
Collaborate with developers to improve testability and application quality.
Report defects with clear reproduction steps.
Required skills
Good understanding of React, JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.
Ability to understand and work with existing codebases.
Ability to think through positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
Basic understanding of web applications and browser behaviour.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and willingness to learn.
Eligibility & qualifications
This internship has a duration of 6 months.
Candidates should be passionate about software quality and modern web technologies.
Willingness to gain hands-on experience with React, Playwright, TypeScript, Docker, and Git.
Ability to contribute to real-world production workflows in a Work From Office (WFO) setting in Bangalore.
