Job description
The Know Your Customer (KYC) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence for the PhonePe Offline Merchant Business. This role involves the accurate and timely validation of merchant-submitted documents, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining high levels of quality and process adherence.
Key responsibilities
• Validate merchant KYC documents
• Verify Proof of Business, Identity, Address, Entity, and Financial documents
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and PhonePe policies
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Detect suspicious or fraudulent document patterns
• Escalate complex verification cases
• Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance scores
• Handle confidential merchant information securely
• Review multilingual documents when required

Eligibility & qualifications

• Comfortable with rotational week-offs
• Comfortable with day rotational shifts
