Job description
The Programmer/Analyst 1 role at Sanmina is an entry-level IT Operations and Application Support position focused on Oracle Applications, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) monitoring.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring critical business systems, ensuring smooth execution of database operations, batch jobs, cloud workflows, and production support activities. This role requires working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment and collaborating with production plants, business teams, and technical teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
This position is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in Oracle ERP, Database Administration, Cloud Operations, and Production Support.
Key responsibilities
Monitor Oracle database health, availability, alerts, and lock management.
Administer Oracle Concurrent Managers and monitor workload performance.
Manage scheduling and execution of batch jobs and concurrent programs.
Monitor queues and optimize resource utilization.
Track system performance and report operational status.
Handle ADRP request releases and ensure successful completion.
Provide completion reports and updates to production plants.
Monitor ODI Load Plans and Package executions.
Execute ODI packages manually when required.
Restart failed load plans from failure checkpoints.
Investigate and report execution failures.
Ensure successful data integration workflows.
Monitor Airflow workflows and cloud services.
Track Cloud Run, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Compute Engine workloads.
Perform manual job triggering and workflow monitoring.
Monitor system health and resource utilization.
Track CPU, memory, and disk performance metrics.
Report and escalate system issues when necessary.Required skills
Basic knowledge of Oracle Applications 11i ERP System Administration.
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL fundamentals.
PostgreSQL basics.
Java programming basics.
Google Apps Script / Google Scripting.
Understanding of Database Concepts.
Knowledge of Batch Processing and Job Scheduling.
Basic Cloud Computing concepts.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Attention to detail.
Team collaboration and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a production support environment.Eligibility & qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Related Technical Discipline.
