Job description

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking an experienced Cluster Manager – Business Banking to lead and scale the business banking network across assigned branches. The role involves driving business growth, customer acquisition, relationship management, branch performance, team leadership, and operational excellence.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in business banking, branch management, sales leadership, customer relationship management, and people management while ensuring compliance and sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive achievement of business goals and revenue targets
• Build and strengthen business banking networks
• Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and portfolio growth
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
• Manage and guide Branch Managers across the cluster
• Deepen existing customer relationships and improve customer retention
• Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations
• Drive sales of multiple banking products and services
• Conduct periodic business performance reviews
• Collaborate with product and operations teams
• Expand branch footprint and product penetration
• Improve customer service standards across branches
• Build strong relationships with corporate and individual customers
• Lead manpower planning, hiring, and employee development
• Drive operational efficiency through digital and process improvements
• Support community development and financial inclusion initiatives

• Mentor and coach Branch Managers and senior team members

Eligibility & qualifications
